The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) is delighted to have supported the WEC-GGC, which held a meeting in Brussels on the 26th of November 2018, regarding the role of natural gas in the future European Energy Mix. The round-table took place at the European Parliament, with the participation of members of the European Commission and Parliament, including Mrs. Maria Spyraki Member of the European Parliament - ITRE Committee and Spokesperson of Nea Demokratia party and Mr. Klaus-Dieter Borchardt, Director of Internal Energy Market at EU Directorate-General of Energy.
HAEE is delighted to have supported Athens Exchange Group, to an actual understanding of the overall Natural Gas Market, in a repeated two- day seminar, from November 19th to November 20th 2018, in Athens Exchange.
Developed by three experts on the field, this course outlines topics related to gas infrastructure, storage and regulatory issues. It concentrated on the economics of Gas, and discussed topics such as trading strategies and price management with derivatives.
Besides, the course explained the current developments in the European wholesale Gas Markets and the opportunities presented in Greek Market.

How to overcome current market fragmentation and to foster more liquid cross-border markets in the region? The conference topics will cover the current trends in the design of energy markets, the modern financing techniques in energy with emphasis in sustainable development, the new technologies in power generation and energy management along with the best practices in energy projects development.
