The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics had the honor to be represented by Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, President of HAEE and Professor of Energy Economics at ESCP Europe Business School.The 2nd AIEE Symposium, held on 2-4 November 2017, at LUMSA University in Rome, brought together energy experts from business, government, international organizations, political realm and industry as well as leading researchers and civil society representatives.

The Financial performance of firms under the EU Emissions trading Scheme (EU ETS) was one of the numerous papers discussed at the Conference, with regards to the Global assessment of energy security, efficiency and sustainability, authors of which are Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos along with Georgia Makridou, Michael Doumpos and Dr. Emilios Galariotis. 

Energy security is a key topic on the international security agenda. This two-day conference provided insights to transform the energy landscape of our world.
