11th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium

The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics is proud to announce the 11th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium, taking place in Athens on 26-28 May 2026, under the theme: “Strategic Energy Shifts: Policies and Politics in Transition?”

Following the successful milestone of the 10th edition, this year’s Symposium builds on over a decade of knowledge exchange, strategic foresight, and high-level dialogue across the global energy ecosystem. As we move closer to the critical 2030 milestone and look beyond towards 2050, the Symposium shifts its focus from setting goals to implementing measurable, transformative actions that can turn climate ambitions into reality.

The 11th HAEE Symposium will bring together leading voices from academia, business, government, and civil society to examine the pace, depth, and equity of the energy transition in Greece, the region, and globally. Key topics will include:

Accelerating the deployment of renewable energy in light of evolving geopolitical and financial pressures
Energy system integration and digitalization for grid stability, flexibility, and consumer empowerment
Delivering on the EU Green Deal and REPowerEU: policy frameworks and investment pipelines
Energy security and affordability amid supply disruptions and market volatility
