The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) is pleased to announce the 11th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium, titled "Strategic Energy Shifts: Policies and Politics in Transition." The event will take place from 25 to 27 May 2026 in Athens, Greece.

To better serve our diverse program, the Symposium will be hosted at two distinct locations:

📌National Museum of Natural History Goulandris

About the Museum

Accessibility (How to Get There):

  • By Metro: The venue is easily accessible via Athens Metro Line 1 (Green Line). Disembark at Kifissia Station (terminal), then either walk or take a local bus to the museum’s vicinity.
  • By Bus: Multiple urban bus lines serve stops near the museum. Routes include 524, 526, 530, A7, 503, 504, 507, 509, 550, and 721. These stop within a short walking distance of the venue.
  • Walking: From Kifissia Metro or bus stops, the museum is typically under a 10‑minute walk via local streets and pedestrian routes.

  • By Metro: The venue is centrally located in Athens and can be reached via the Athens Metro network. The nearest metro stations typically serve Lines M2 and M3 within walking distance of the Xenias Street location. (Specific closest stations vary and can be confirmed closer to the event.)
  • By Bus: Several urban bus routes operate in central Athens and serve stops near Xenias Street and Mavili Square. Attendees may choose a bus route that best matches their starting point from central locations.
  • By Trolleybus/Tram: Athens trolleybus and tram services also operate across central areas with convenient access to nearby stops.
  • By Train (Suburban Rail): The Proastiakos railway provides additional links within greater Athens; attendees may connect from rail stations to the venue via local transport or taxi.
