In Focus Special Edition | Academic Papers & Abstracts from the 10th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium

HAEE is delighted to present a special edition of INFOCUS, marking both our 10th anniversary and the 10th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium held in May 2025.

This unique issue compiles the academic abstracts and full papers presented during the Symposium’s Academic Sessions, highlighting cutting-edge research that bridges policy, economics, and technology in the energy transition.

The publication is structured in two sections:

🔹 Focused Research – Extended abstracts offering sharp insights on emerging debates, such as:

  • The role of financial markets in enhancing energy security
  • Rethinking EU green policy strategies for energy efficiency
  • AI-driven forecasting for local flexibility markets
  • Decentralised district heating and energy community models
