Communications & Events Manager

The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) is seeking a motivated and creative professional to join its team as Communications & Events Manager. This role combines marketing, communications and event planning, and is ideal for someone passionate about the energy sector and eager to contribute to HAEE’s national and international presence.

About HAEE

  • Acts as a national platform for energy dialogue, policy, and research

What We Do

  • Organize high-profile events such as the Annual Energy Transition Symposium with industry and academic presence and Ecomobility Conference
  • Publish influential reports and materials (e.g., Chart of the Month, In Focus, Greek Energy Market Report)
  • Participate in EU-funded research projects and policy initiatives
  • Provide educational and networking opportunities for energy professionals

 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate events: venues, logistics, invitations, stakeholders, suppliers.
  • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, newsletters, press releases, and presentations. Manage and grow contact lists, members, and stakeholder databases.
  • Support sponsorship activation and visibility across HAEE’s events and channels.
  • Contribute to member engagement and promotion of HAEE’s initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience (2–3 years) in communications, event planning, or marketing – preferably within the energy, sustainability, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with energy-related topics and interest in global energy transition issues will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong writing and content creation ability (English & Greek).
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools including social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram), email marketing software, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
  • Skilled in content creation and design using Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (optional), and other modern design platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek, with ability to craft engaging content for professional audiences.
