Each year, as part of the Annual HAEE Energy Transition Symposium, we present the HAEE Annual Award.
HAEE’s Annual Award is granted to a Greek researcher or professional who has excelled in the fields of Energy, Economy, and Environment, leaving a significant international footprint through their work.

2nd HAEE Energy Transition Symposium
During HAEE's Annual Award 2017 Ceremony, Mr. Pantelis Capros, Professor, National Technical University of Athens, was awarded “for his long-standing contribution in the field of Energy Policy”.

Prof. Dr. Nikolaos Chatziargyriou, Professor of NTUA, Division of Electric Power; President of DEDDIE, got awarded “for his long-standing contribution in the field of Power Systems and Smart Grids”.

4th ΗΑΕΕ Energy Transition Symposium
Mr. Arthouros Zervos, Chair of Renewable Energy Policy Network, REN21 was the recipient for the Annual Award of HAEE, which is given to a Greek researcher / professional that has excelled in the fields of Energy, Economy and Environment, leaving a significant international footprint with his work. Especially, Mr. Arthouros Zervos was awarded “for his long-standing contribution in the field of Renewables, Power Systems and Smart Grids”.

6th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium
HAEE's Annual Award has been given to Mr. George Ioannou, Professor, Athens University of Economics and Business; CEO, Energy Exchange Group for his long-standing contribution in the establishment of the backbone of the Greek Energy Market and the Energy Exchange Group.

17th IAEE European Energy Conference
This year's HAEE's Annual Award has been given to Prof. Athanasios Dagoumas, President of the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy, honoring his long-standing contribution towards a decarbonized, liberalized and competitive Greek energy sector.
HAEE also honored the HELLENiQ ENERGY with the "Business Transformation and Green Innovation Award", in recognition of the company's initiative to expand its core business activities with an emphasis on environmentally friendly sources for a net-zero transition towards a sustainable future. Mr. Spyros Kiartzis, received the award on behalf of the company.

8th HAEE Energy Transition Symposium
This year's Award has been given to Dr. Panagiotis Grammelis, Director of Research, Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, for his outstanding contribution to scientific research especially in Greek Coal Regions in Transition.
