InFocus #9 explores Southeast Europe’s growing role as a strategic energy corridor for the EU, with a closer look at new infrastructure, regional connections and the accelerating energy transition. The issue examines the development of the Vertical Corridor, the role of Greece and Bulgaria in strengthening regional energy flows, and the growing importance of electricity interconnections, storage and flexibility. It also looks ahead to 2035 and the opportunities for the region to further develop as a European energy hub. The edition also features contributions from HAEE members Faria Renewables, Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and Protasis.
