Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, energy expert, professor, and president of the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) participated at a Panel Discussion at the VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, which was held on October 5th. The forum was attended by representatives of institutions and energy groups from Russia, Europe, Asia and the USA. Dr. Andrisopoulos analyzed the sector's prospects for the transition to a clean energy era, referred to the LNG, PNG infrastructure in the wider region and presented the prospects for energy security through regional co-operation.
