Athens is getting ready to host the 17th IAEE European Energy Conference seeking to enrich the dialogue on some of the most crucial issues facing the energy community.

SPEAKERS

The most notable representatives of the energy sector will enrich the Conference’s Plenary Sessions. Influential thought-leaders, government officials, heads from non-governmental organizations and leading companies will all be there!

EVENTS

We have enriched our Program with social and cultural side events, so our participants get the chance to catch-up with friends, make new acquaintances and get connected.

  • On the evening of the 21st of September, we will welcome all Conference attendees in a Reception, so they can get a feel for the venue with great company, at the Open Air Theatre of the American College of Greece.
  • The opening day of the conference (September 22nd) will end up to an hour-long private tour to the Acropolic Museum, one of the 10 best museums in the world. If you didn't have the chance to visit it so far, you 'll be mesmerized by the artefacts of Ancient Greece. The night will finish with the Gala Dinner served at the restaurant of the Museum, looking right at the magnificence of the Parthenon.
  • On the second day of the Conference, delegates will get to visit the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, where they will be able to admire a painting exhibition by the famous Greek artist Konstantinos Spyropoulos. Dinner will follow at the spectacular "Lighthouse" of the SNFCC, offering a 360 view of the city of Athens.

ACCOMMODATION

The 17th IAEE European Conference will be held as a physical event. Athens gets really crowded in September, so make sure to make your hotel reservation well in advance! Check the conference website for more details and reduced rates here.
