EV registrations are steadily increasing, with BEVs and PHEVs accounting for a growing share of new vehicle sales. This signals a gradual shift from early adopters to a broader consumer base.

However, the analysis highlights a persistent gap between current trends and long-term NECP targets, underlining the need for sustained momentum. Cost remains a key obstacle, as average EV prices are still high for many households and businesses, even as the number of available models expands.

Overall, the data align with the insights from the 9th EcoMobility Conference. Greece is moving in the right direction, but reaching a tipping point will depend on policy stability, improved charging confidence, and the wider availability of genuinely affordable EV options.
