The EU has pledged €200 billion for AI development, including €20 billion for Gigafactories and €10 billion for supercomputing infrastructure. By 2026, nine AI-optimised supercomputers will be operating across 17 Member States, tripling Europe’s computing power.

Despite over 6,800 AI startups, adoption remains modest — only 13.5% of companies use AI technologies today — underlining the need to scale skills, trust, and access.
