We are getting closer to the 17th IAEE European Conference, and we are delighted to share with you information about our social & side events and the Programs for our Plenary and Concurrent sessions.

SOCIAL EVENTS

We have enriched our Program with social and cultural side events, so our participants get the chance to catch-up with friends, make new acquaintances and get connected.

  • On the evening of the 21st of September, we will welcome all Conference attendees in a Reception, so they can get a feel for the venue with great company, at the Open Air Theatre of the American College of Greece.
  • The opening day of the conference (September 22nd) will end up to an hour-long private tour to the Acropolis Museum, one of the 10 best museums in the world. If you didn't have the chance to visit it so far, you 'll be mesmerized by the artefacts of Ancient Greece. The night will finish with the Gala Dinner served at the restaurant of the Museum, looking right at the magnificence of the Parthenon.
  • On the second day of the Conference, delegates will get to visit the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, where they will be able to admire a painting exhibition by the famous Greek artist Konstantinos Spyropoulos. Dinner will follow at the spectacular "Lighthouse" of the SNFCC, offering a 360 view of the city of Athens.
  • Right after the Welcome Reception, all Conference participants will have the chance to get a taste of Athens night life during the Athens Happy Hour. All participants attending the event will get one free drink. (Venue: Mantzarou 3)
  • The Conference’s Closing Session on Saturday 24, will end up with a tour to the magnificent Acropolis Hill. Among the sights of the Acropolis of Athens is the Parthenon, temple that dominates the hill of the Acropolis at Athens, built in the mid-5th century BCE and dedicated by the Athenians to Athena Parthenos, the patron of their city.
