The 4th HAEE Seminar titled "Competitive Electricity Markets" was successfully completed

The fourth HAEE Seminar titled "Competitive Electricity Markets" was successfully completed on Wednesday, October 30th. HAEE Seminars are a new initiative of the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE), which aims at offering specialized know-how on issues pertaining energy, the environment and the economy to executives and professionals in the energy sector who wish to enhance their professional skills.

 

The 4th HAEE Seminar titled "Competitive Electricity Markets" was successfully completed

HAEE Seminars are a new initiative of the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE), which aims at offering specialized know-how on issues pertaining energy, the environment and the economy to executives and professionals in the energy sector who wish to enhance their professional skills.

To this end, HAEE designed one-day seminars with leading scientists and recognized market leaders as lecturers who help participants understand the developments and new energy trends in order to successfully meet current and future challenges.

The seminar titled "Competitive Electricity Markets" was delivered by Mr. Nick Frydas, a Chartered Power Systems Engineer and Energy Economist who has more than 30 years of professional experience in the design and regulation of energy markets, power system design, planning and operations, power sector structural reforms and energy policy. During the seminar the participants were able to attend the presentation, as well as to exchange experiences in an interactive discussion. The topics discussed included:

The seminar was attended by executives of companies from the electricity, gas, retail and banking sectors.
